Case Study
Fuzlio – Maker operating system
Refined positioning, onboarding, and AI-assisted workflows to turn Fuzlio from “news from a parallel universe” into a measurable productivity layer for indie builders.
Overview
Fuzlio helps micro teams centralize prompts, rituals, and market updates so they ship faster without drowning in tabs. The redesign introduced a modular dashboard, AI guardrails, and a tiered pricing story that made the value prop easier to grasp in 60 seconds.
Problem / Goal
- Original onboarding dropped 40% of users before they understood the toolkit.
- Content modules looked like a blog, not a proactive workspace.
- Need to create a clear upgrade path while keeping the indie vibe intact.
My Role
Lead product designer covering UX research, IA, system design, and AI prompt engineering. Partnered with one developer for implementation.
Constraints
Two-sprint window, limited dev resources, and the need to keep everything no-code friendly so the team could iterate after handoff.
Process
- Wireframe → reorganized modules around “Plan, Make, Measure” to align with maker rituals.
- UI → built a layered color system and iconography that scales from light dashboards to dark hero imagery.
- Shipping → delivered component specs, prompt libraries, and marketing-ready assets in Notion + Figma for async iteration.
Outcomes
- 30% faster task creation within internal dogfooding sessions.
- New pricing story communicates value in three bullets instead of a wall of text.
- TODO: add metrics once post-launch analytics are finalized.
