Case Study
KEDİTTİN – Cat community, zero clutter
Scaled KEDİTTİN from an Instagram meme page to a proper community app with live meetups, adoption pipelines, and AI-moderated rooms that feel human.
Overview
KEDİTTİN had thousands of fans but no structured way to meet, adopt, or swap advice. I created a playful visual language, reorganized navigation by intent (Meet, Adopt, Learn), and prototyped micro-motions that make even moderation feels kind.
Problem / Goal
- People could not find local events because everything was buried in a chat feed.
- Volunteer moderators needed lighter tools to approve posts without feeling like cops.
- Adoption forms were scattered across PDFs, causing drop-offs mid-process.
My Role
Led UX research, story mapping, UI system, and prototyping. Coached the team on motion usage and AI prompt writing for moderation replies.
Constraints
Had to stay within an existing Flutter build and reuse Firebase Auth, so any new flows needed to drop in without migrations.
Process
- Wireframe → split the app into Meet, Adopt, and Learn tabs with clear success states.
- UI → built stamp-like badges, neon gradients, and iconography inspired by neon cat cafés.
- Shipping → delivered animation specs, Notion templates for events, and AI prompt packs that keep mod replies consistent.
Outcomes
- Event RSVPs increased 2.4x after launching the Meet tab.
- Moderation queue time dropped from 18 hours to 5 thanks to AI-assisted replies.
- TODO: add metrics once adoption partners publish their quarterly report.

Next Steps
Opening the marketplace for vetted cat cafés and shelters plus rolling out a sponsor kit. Need a similar community rollout? See the beta or send a brief.
